How do you Connect? Connections are important to people. Connecting via phone, text, e-mail, voice mail, snail mail, and art. What? Connections through art? That’s right. Art connects all of us, it transcends time, place, culture, and ability.
On Thursday November 19, 2009 Connections of Central New York is hosting an event in art that honors those with developmental disabilities through supporting progressive and innovative services involving those in their community. That’s where YOU come in. Join us on this evening of celebrating community, art, and people.

We have Internship Opportunities with our agency. We are looking for a few great students! If you are interested in the non-profit sector and want to be part of a cutting edge agency that wants to assist people with developmental disabilities in having the same choices and opportunities as everyone else. Then this may be for you! We are one of the most progressive agencies in our field and want to stay that way. We need people that like to work with others in a team environment, can think outside the norm, and have a head for business with a heart for people. Our agency and the people we serve are active members of our communities. We engage and make a difference. We need a grant writer/researcher, and a social entrepreneur as Interns. Please see our descriptions and application for further consideration.
